Heitmiller never disappoints us. We were tired and hungry and stopped in for dinner. The ambiance was great...a fire going in the fireplace gave a warm and cozy feel while we ate our salads and perfectly cooked sirloin. So tasty and delicious! We look forward to eating here every chance we come through.

I had the Prime Steak Medium-sweet potato-dinner salad. Price was great! Atmosphere was inviting. Waitress was not too friendly.
There was a very efficient feel to this place and good service. Steaks were pretty good as well. We will visit here again. There is a nice history as well at this steakhouse. Local owned also so a good bonus! Support your local owned businesses!
Stopped by for lunch today - got 2 Chicken Fried Steaks - half portion. It was PLENTY (we even took half of it home!). The meal came with 2 sides. All of it was good! Afterwards I had Coconut Cream pie (made there in the restaurant)! They had several desserts to choose from!! The pie was good and a nice LARGE portion. The best part of the whole experience though was our waitress, Day; there couldn't be a better, more kind waitress!! She was kind, helpful, and had the perfect skill of checking on us without being overbearing - we'd drive from home (over 55 miles away) just to have her OUTSTANDING service!! Be sure to ask for Day - she'll make your stop here THE BEST!!
We are traveling to a Texas Rangers game and decided we wanted a local steak house for our lunch munchies. So Food- we had a few Rib Eye steaks and a couple Chicken Fried Steaks. The Steaks were surprisingly good, and the Chicken Fried Steaks were ok. Baked potatoes, hard to mess up the okra I would pass on. Service- Our Server Kaitlyn was attentive, friendly and very welcoming, she also had some help from Jay and took great care of us. Ambiance- cool country steak house. Cool decor. Overall I would come have a steak here again.
Heitmiller Steakhouse was a wonderful experience. I loved the rustic country atmosphere. The waitress was so nice and helpful, and the food was really good. Thebmeal came out really quickly and the service was great, seeing as we had a large party dining, but the portions were really big. Overall, it was delicious! Thanks for reading
